Partnership Disputes
A partnership is a business structure carried on by a group of people together with the intention of making a profit. An unfortunate common dispute involves business partners, whether due to a differing mindset or due to external factors outside of their control. Whilst a partnership agreement may provide a strategic course to resolve the dispute, generally parties will benefit from objective and external legal advice to guide them to a satisfactory pathway to resolution. It’s not uncommon for partnerships to not have a formal partnership agreement in place and they then must defer to the Partnership Act.

We can assist by preparing a document ending the partnership or by applying to the court for orders in relation to the dissolution of the partnership where necessary to sell any assets or to assist in the appointment of a receiver to manage the process.
