Property
Property disputes can arise in a variety of settings. For instance, it is not uncommon for people who purchase property to rely upon statements made by the seller or their agent about the property prior to purchasing it, only to have found out later that statement to be incorrect or misleading. We can assist you by providing advice about your rights as a buyer against the seller or his/her agent and realising your claim for damages in those circumstances.

Caveats are another contentious property related matter. You may have rights to lodge a caveat in circumstances where you have a claim against someone’s property and what is known as a caveatable interest in that property. Similarly, if someone has lodged a caveat against your property without any apparent justification, we can provide you with advice about how to remove it and what steps can be taken in those circumstances including to recover any losses you suffer by the lodgment of that caveat.
Please contact our office if you wish to have a no obligation chat about a property related issue or dispute.
