Contract Disputes
Contract disputes arise where parties disagree about the meaning and effect of contract terms or where a party refuses to abide by one of the contract terms and in effect breaches the contract. It is possible to avoid the former by careful drafting of the contract with the assistance of a lawyer. The latter is often unavoidable and requires the non-breaching party to exercise their rights to enforce the contract terms.
We have experience in enforcing contracts via a well drafted letter and by Court intervention where necessary including seeking orders that a party abide by the Court and pay damages where loss has been suffered. Whilst Court is often avoidable and undesirable for some reasons, it is sometimes a necessary course. Having an experienced litigator in your corner will promote a more efficient means of resolving the dispute early.
